Out of the mouth of 12 year olds.

I'm in sixth grade!! Wooo!! Well I myself am not IN sixth grade as a student, I myself am in a sixth grade class as their student teacher! wooot wooot!! I really like the older grades. And my mentor teacher is amazing. If I can get even an ounce of her talent to rub off on me then I will be a much better teacher, I'm excited to get to learn from her for the next 2 months.

So today we were learning about tree diagrams, and one of the questions on the worksheet was, "Ethel, Mike, Pete, Gary are lining up in front of a theater. How many different ways could they line up?" Halfway through figuring it out this one student said, "Gosh, does it really matter? Why don't they just get in line already!" It was great. :) They realize sometimes you gotta just do things the long way so you really understand.

Sixth is fabulous!
